Call to Worship Joel 2:28-32
Pastor
"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.
Congregation
Even on the male and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit.
Pastor
"And I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke.
Congregation
The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes.
Pastor
And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.
All
For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the LORD has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the LORD calls. Let us call on the name of the LORD as we worship in Spirit and Truth.
Song Spirit of God (CCLI#251645)
The blessing of the Father, Gift of grace and love.
The promise of the Savior, For power from above.
Oh, wondrous gift that’s given, For confidence and mission,
Holy Spirit, You make all things new.
CHORUS
Spirit of God, breathe on me now.
Source of life, come, revive my weary heart.
Spirit of God, shine on me now.
Light of life, come, ignite my longing heart.
Come and lift the dark clouds, Of doubt and unbelief.
Shine upon my soul now, For by Your rays I see
Clearer, closer, deeper, The love of my Redeemer.
Holy Spirit, You make all things new. CHORUS
Where You breathe hope thrives, The dead return to life.
And the dark must flee the breaking day.
By Your light, I see the glory of my King.
Beholding Him, I will be changed. CHORUS

Call to Confession
“Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Come, then, let us confess our sins to the one who is faithful to forgive. And let us adore the one who is mighty to save!
We Corporately Confess Our Sins
Merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart and soul and mind and strength. We have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. In your mercy, forgive what we have been, help us amend what we are, and direct what we shall be, so that we may delight in your will and walk in your ways, to the glory of your holy name. Amen.
We Silently Confess Our Sins
Song Jesus, My Only Hope (CCLI#251645)
I come into Your presence — with nothing in my hands.
I only bring thanksgiving — for Jesus, God, and Man.
I cast myself on mercy, — I cast myself on love.
I trust Your gracious promise — to wash me with Your blood.
I will not fear Your judgment. — For me no wrath I dread.
For it was spent on Jesus, — poured out upon His head.
When Satan’s accusations — make my poor heart afraid,
I hear my King declaring, “Father, that debt is paid.”
Chorus: Jesus, my only hope, — my only plea,
My righteousness, — my great High Priest,
Who intercedes for me — before the throne. ——
Jesus, I trust in You alone.
Though I am poor and naked, — Your prodigal come home,
You place Your robe upon me, — Your holiness alone.
Though I be dry and barren, by grace this love springs forth,
Love for You and Your Kingdom, — Joy in Your glory, Lord.
Chorus (2 times)
Jesus, I trust in You alone.

Postlude
“because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”
— Romans 10 : 9-10
